Congratulations to the 2021 ASCE Birmingham Branch Scholarship Recipients! Every year, the ASCE Birmingham Branch offers scholarships to local students perusing a degree in civil engineering. This year, the Birmingham Branch was pleased to offer 3 scholarships to local students. The recipients (pictured above) were as follows:
ASCE Branch Scholarship: Tyler Bradley
Vulcan Materials Scholarship: Bennett Steenwyk
H. Ray Bailey Scholarship: Waed Antar
The scholarship amounts were $1,500, $1,000, and $500 respectively. A special thank you to our sponsors for making these scholarships possible. Every year, the Branch hosts a Golf Tournament to fundraise for these scholarships. If you want to get in on the fun, go the the Events page to register! The sponsorship deadline is July 1, 2021.
