Our officers are active and subscribing members of the Birmingham Branch. Officers are elected by the membership to serve the branch for one year terms in each position starting at the Secretary position in October of each year. At the end of the term, the President’s term expires and the other officers transition into the next position above them. When a President’s term expires, he/she will have served the branch for four consecutive years. Only one new officer is elected each year to begin service to the branch as the Secretary.
